About
Plauder is a user interface for generating text. Most of the time you create placeholders and fill them with text or other placeholders. As you write, Plauder randomly fills all placeholders and creates variations of your input. Plauder works recursively, which means you can put placeholders inside placeholders.
Plauder was created by Gregor Weichbrodt and is inspired by Tracery, a JavaScript library by Kate Compton.
Features:
- 📄Text generation based on placeholders and substitution.
- 🔀Works recursively: You may put placeholders inside placeholders.
- ⚙️Several ways to fine-tune the output: Change case, grammatical properties of words and more.
- 📌Can cache the selection of placeholder values. For example, to refer to the same characters or things in the text repeatedly.
- 🔍️Powerful search: Search quickly by or within placeholders.
- 📂Import or export entire projects as JSON-files.
- ☁️Projects can be saved online without account creation and are saved locally by default.
- 💾The text output is downloadable as text file. Set a minimum character count and click Download.
